Ball State University hosted the First Sursa American Organ Competition in partnership with the Moscow International Goedicke Organ Competition with Raul Prieto Ramirez as artistic director and jury member beside Cherry Rhodes, Huw Lewis and David Higgs. Two first prizes were awarded to Nicole Simental and Brian Glickes, the audience prize went to Brenda Portman. Both Brian and Nicole attended the Moscow International directly from the second round (as agreed in the partnership). Nicole Simental also won first prize in the Moscow Competition. Congratulations to all the participants!!
